Objectives

• Coordination and respective sharing of open data actions in terms of efficiency and effectiveness;
• Alignment of the technological platform (CKAN) of open data catalogues: harvesting and metadata and licence harmonisation;
• Multilingual support for the publication of data and metadata;
• Training and sharing of knowledges with the employees of the two public administrations and of SMEs.

Phases of the project
2015

• June: starting the collaboration
• September: sharing of the draft of the new Provincial guidelines for the enhancement of public administration asset
• October: Training courses for managers and technicians of both Provinces organised by the Region - Creation of a forum discussion on PaB social media
• December: release of the open data catalogue of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano

2016

• 05.03.16 Open Data Day at Tis Bolzano, single event for the two provinces
• 16.6.16 the colleagues from Bolzano are involved in the final evaluation stage of the pilot project ISA2
• 12.09.16 Event at the Trento Smart City week
• Starting the realignment of the CKAN platforms through the adjustment to the DCAT_AP_IT metadata standards

2017

• January: launch and update of the new portals
• Continuous exchange of knowledges and experience on strategic standardisation choices between the two provinces
• Possible development of further collaboration between parallel structures in the two provinces in training events for the Italian CKAN user network.
